Discover Excellence through sport

Learn how to shoot and have fun doing it! This is a great starting point for young archers new to the sport. Learn to shoot a basic recurve and compound bow, along with a variety of games to reinforce skills learned. This program will make you a better archer, and is great for kids just starting in archery. All equipment is provided. Ages 8+

After School Archery

Take the next step from After School Archery. This class reinforces range safety and works on developing an archer's shooting skill to help them become a better, more confident archer. This class utilizes games and archery activities to achieve the next level in your archery experience. Archers are introduced to shooting further distances and is perfect for young archers looking for recreational fun. All equipment provided. Ages 8+

Intermediate Archery

This class is perfect for families looking to learn archery together. Enjoy archery with different activities and receive coaching as a team instead of individual training.

Family and Friends Archery

New to archery? Visit us on Saturdays from 11am-12:30pm for our introductory archery class open to all ages. Learn range safety, basics of equipment, and shot execution with the help of knowledgeable archery instructors. Perfect for family and friends looking for something fun and reasonably priced to do on a Saturday morning. Class starts at 11am, all equipment is provided. No registration necessary, drop-ins welcome.

TRY Archery

Open practice for the Yankton Area Archers JOAD & 4H Club. This is a great activity for archers taking classes at NEYAC to have an additional day of shooting with other archers from various classes from beginner to competitive. Open practice can be unstructured shooting (safety rules always apply), or can include preparation for an upcoming event or team meetings (3rd Friday of the month). Participation in this club's night practice is FREE for Archery Center members and students taking classes. It is open to the general public for the standard day pass fee of $5-$10

The Archery Center offers private, one-on-one lessons or group lessons for archers of any skill level. If you are needing basic instruction, or are a seasoned vet looking to polish your skills, our highly skilled, experienced, and certified coaches and instructors can help. Private coaching covers everything from shot execution, mental management, tournament preparation, equipment repair, tuning, and more. 

Coaching Packages:

1 Hour Session: $50

4-Hour Package: $160

4-Hour Package for 2 people: $240

8-Hour Package: $240

12-Hour Package: $360

Hours never expire and are flexible to the archer's schedule. Take your archery skills to the next level.
