Grounds & Maintenance Coordinator

Hours: Full-time and part-time positions available

Pay: Based on Education and Experience

As the Grounds and Maintenance Coordinator of the NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center (NEYAC), the Coordinator will assist with the implementation and set up of events, programs, and archery tournaments; including the organization and loading of equipment necessary. Additionally, the Coordinator will work to provide the best practices in building and ground maintenance to ensure a safe, clean, and first-class facility. 

 

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee facility maintenance for archery and non-archery events. Monitor needs and requests at onsite events, including restocking of targets, supplies, and/or problems that arise with equipment or venue, and making sure each location is set and clean for the next day/phase of the event.

  • Oversee and manage grounds and Maintenance of the NEYAC indoor and outdoor facilities.

  • Supervise daily duties of State Trustee Inmates; including picking up and returning them to the trustee unit.

  • Organize and manage equipment inventory for use at onsite and offsite events. Coordinate cleaning and maintenance of all event equipment.

  • Coordinate loading/unloading and transportation of equipment for offsite events.

  • Oversee onsite venue set up and tear down. Assist in managing set up/tear down timeline, staff and volunteer assignments, and verify all tasks have been completed.

  • Be creative and an innovative thinker, providing solutions to improve the programs and management of the entire Center.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Center Director.

 

Qualifications:

  • Exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Manage multiple projects and priorities.

  • Basic computer proficiency including email & Microsoft Office

  • Work with employees/staff; coaches, and volunteers.

  • Creative thinker and innovator.

  • Support transparency, ethical decision-making and always acts with the highest degree of integrity.

  • Ability to work some non-traditional work hours during events, including some weekends. Full-time hours can average up to 45 hours per week. The part-time schedule is flexible.

  • Experience with all Maintenance equipment including; mowers, tractors, lawn, and garden power equipment, chainsaws, floor cleaners, ATVs, golf carts, and vehicles.

  • All hand tools to provide general Maintenance and repairs both inside and out.
