NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center Hosts First Dakota Archery Classic April 12-14


Over 300 are expected to compete at the First Dakota Classic, the last leg of the NFAA's 3 Star Tour

Archers from across the country will once again descend on Yankton for the 11th annual First Dakota Archery Classic. Over 300 archers will compete in a variety of shooting divisions for over $40,000 in cash prizes, including a shoot off for $15,000.

The First Dakota Classic is an indoor distance tournament and money shoot, guaranteeing over $40,000 in payouts in Young Adult and Adult divisions. The First Dakota Classic features qualification rounds on Friday and Saturday, followed by head-to head eliminations on Saturday afternoon and Sunday. Championship matches will take place at approximately 2:00pm on Saturday, April 13.

The Classic is the final leg of the 3 Star Tour, which includes The Vegas Shoot, Las Vegas, NV and National Field Archery Association (NFAA) Indoor Nationals, Cincinnati, OH. The 3 Star Tour will total nearly 6,000 attendees in 2019. Participants that have attended all 3 Star Events will shoot off for $15,000 in cash prizes at approximately 7:00pm on Saturday, April 13th.

• 9 a.m.-9 p.m. — Paid Practice as Space is Available

• noon-6 p.m. — Archery Trade Show

• 1 p.m. — Qualification Round (Championship, Flights, Junior)

Saturday, April 13, 2019

• 7 a.m.-2 p.m. — Paid Practice as Space is Available

• 8 a.m. — Qualification Round (Championship, Flights, Junior)

• 11 a.m. — Qualification Round (Flights & Junior Only)

• 2 p.m. — Qualification Round (Flights & Junior Only)

• 2 p.m. — Championship Elimination & Medal Matches

• 9 a.m.-6 p.m. — Archery Trade Show

• 6-7 p.m. — Archer Appreciation Dinner

• 3 Star Shoot Offs* ($10,000 Pro/$5,000 Amateur)
