All equipment is provided. Classes take place at NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Complex: 800 Archery Lane, Yankton, SD 57078.
Four Week Summer Courses
Each class will meet 1 time per week for 4 weeks. Classes are open to all ages 7 & up.
Summer Session #1 starts the week of May 27th and ends the week of June 17th.
Summer Session #2 starts the week of July 8th and ends the week of July 29th.
Each class will meet 1 time per week for 4 weeks on the designated day in your registration.
Beginner Air Rifle
Looking for an exciting and safe way for your kids to learn about gun safety and shooting? Over four weeks, you will not only learn essential gun safety skills, but you’ll also have a blast perfecting your form and trying out four different shooting positions - standing, prone, bench, and kneeling! Beginner Archery
Have you ever felt the rush of adrenaline as you draw a bow and let an arrow fly? If not, then you won’t want to miss out on our Beginner Archery class! This class is perfect for anyone who has ever been curious about the sport of archery. Our knowledgeable instructors will guide you through the basics of the shooting and safety of archery, so you can focus on the thrill of hitting your target! Grab your friends and come experience the excitement of hitting a bullseye! The shooting distance for this class will be 10 yards. Equipment will be provided, but participants may bring in their own equipment.

Intermediate Archery
Ready to take your archery skills to the next level? Intermediate archery is the perfect class for those who have already conquered the basics and are ready for a challenge. You'll learn advanced techniques that will help you improve your shot grouping and placement on the target, all while shooting from a distance of 15 yards. You'll receive personalized attention and guidance from your instructor to help you hone your skills and become a true archery master. Get ready to take aim and hit your mark with confidence and precision! Equipment will be provided, but participants may bring in their own equipment.

Advanced Archery
This class is designed for archers who already own their own equipment and want to enhance their shooting skills while expanding their knowledge of their equipment. The course will cover various topics such as proper equipment fitting, sighting in, tuning, and shooting techniques. The shooting distance will be 20 yards.

Introduction to Field Archery
Join us on an exciting journey as we explore the discipline of Field Archery, where you will learn to hit paper targets while immersing yourself in the beauty of nature. With a focus on building upon the archery skills you have learned in previous classes, this course will challenge you to shoot at varying distances, test your accuracy, and teach you how to master the art of shooting in different outdoor elements. Get ready for a one-of-a-kind experience that will leave you feeling confident and accomplished! Field, Hunter, and Animal targets will be reviewed.

Super Girl Day Camp
Hey there, calling all supergirls! Are you ready to unleash your inner superhero and hone your archery skills like a huntress? Then get ready for a thrilling adventure at our girls' camp! You’ll learn all about archery and air rifle basics, with a big focus on making sure you are safe and sound! But that’s not all! You’ll also get to create your superhero crown, and to top it all off, you’ll get to go on a treasure hunt too! Don't forget to dress for the occasion and bring plenty of water, a yummy sack lunch, and a tasty snack to fuel your fun-filled day in the great outdoors. Get ready to have a blast!

Outdoor Adventure Day Camp

Explore Bowfishing
You’re not going to want to miss out on the Explore Bow Fishing class! This engaging program is a thrilling combination of archery and fishing, designed to introduce kids to an exciting and fast-paced sport. Not only will students learn the basics of bow fishing, but they'll also get an up-close look at local and state bow fishing laws. To participate in this course, students must complete an introductory archery class, such as Intro to Archery, TRY Archery, Beginner, or Intermediate Archery. All the necessary equipment will be provided, and actual bow fishing equipment will be available for demonstration. This is an outdoor activity; appropriate attire is required along with a water bottle and snack.

3D Archery Camp

Hit the Mark: Intro Archery, Pickleball, & Air Rifle Camp
In this introductory class, you will learn the basics of three exciting sports - pickleball, archery, and air rifle. Pickleball is a fun and fast-paced game that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. You'll learn the basic rules, how to serve, and how to hit the ball. In the archery portion of the class, you'll learn how to safely handle and shoot a bow and arrow. With practice, you'll gain the skills and confidence to hit the target every time. Finally, in the air rifle portion of the class, you'll learn how to load and unload the gun, how to aim, and how to control your breathing and posture for the most accurate shot. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience in these sports, this class is designed to help you improve your skills, have fun, and stay safe while participating.
