Community Coach

Hours: Full Time

Pay: Based on Experience

Core Responsibilities

 Support daily operations and assist with archery and shooting sports programs

· Provide group instruction and private coaching

· Assist with camps, classes, leagues, clinics, and certification courses

· Help manage program equipment, including inventory, maintenance, and purchasing

· Work with staff to develop and maintain program curriculum and ensure consistent instruction

· Support marketing and outreach efforts to grow participation

· Assist with local, regional, and national events hosted at the facility

· Build relationships with local schools, clubs, and partner organizations

· Help integrate archery into school and youth programs (NASP, OAS, JOAD, etc.)

· Assist with Mount Marty Archery programs, including practices, coaching, and events

· Support archery academies and training camps

· Contribute ideas to improve and expand programs based on industry trends

· Maintain strong communication with staff, partners, and the community

· Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

· Associate or bachelor’s degree in sports, fitness, recreation, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

· Coaching or archery experience (or similar industry experience)

· Basic knowledge of bow setup, tuning, and maintenance preferred

· Experience with events, leagues, or program management is a plus

· Comfortable using technology and software platforms

· Ability to pass background check, SafeSport, and required certifications.

· Must be eligible to work with youth participants

Front Desk/Lobby Assistant

Hours: Part-time, mostly weeknights and weekend hours, 3-8 hour shifts

Applicant must have availability on weekends and around some holidays. 

​

Pay: $13/hour​

​

Core Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Meet and greet customers in a professional manner

  • Answer Phones

  • Become familiar with Archery Center operations and programs

  • Assist in record keeping of archery and non-archery activities.

  • Check-in members and visitors utilizing registration software.

  • Ring up sales of programs, services, and merchandise using Point of Sale (POS) software

  • Assist NEYAC staff with day-to-day operations including event set up, daily maintenance of facilities, inventory management and aiding as needed in events hosted at the facility

  • Maintain a professional working relationship with other staff

  • Maintain good attendance

Prefer the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Strong customer service

  • Works well with children, adults, and special needs persons in a public environment on a daily basis

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work with POS software and have general knowledge of daily office operations and equipment

  • Familiarity with basic archery equipment repairs preferred, or willing to learn (company will train)

  • Ability and willingness to earn a USA Archery Level 1 or above archery instructor certification (company will train)

  • Ability to work in a commercial range environment with multiple archery disciplines, air rifle ranges, outdoor ranges, interacting with clubs and various organizations.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain clearance to work with children is a mandatory and essential component of this position and continued employment

  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Able to work in an English-speaking environment

  • Have a valid driver's license

  • Maintain good attendance and a professional appearance
